Pretty cool, but doesn't get me excited. More hits than misses on his list so that's good. Most are horror though, if that means anything.
I have some ideas for a Batman trilogy and wrote about them today. Consider this: A Batman detective trilogy My main goal with this column is to just have fun and brainstorm some ideas that I'd like to see in film/TV.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are a pen stroke away from helming the upcoming film The Flash: Flashpoint. In addition to their work on Homecoming, the duo are known for writing and directing the Vacation reboot and penning Horrible Bosses.
Does this mean other people will contribute to the Homecoming sequel and make it a better representation of young Spidey adventures? I liked enough about Homecoming to be down with them taking a swing at Flashpoint, even though that's a very different movie. Maybe their past work will meld well with the current DCEU tone in an interesting way.
Wow, I love this casting. He's great on Mr. Robot and This Is Us. Ron Cephas Jones In Talks to Join New Line’s DC Superhero 'SHAZAM!'
I dunno about that though.... Their last DC movie was a hit and the other ones made huge money. I don't think a single person on earth thought the first live action JL movie would have flopped. Even if it was a bad movie, I don't believe anyone saw it making under what the other movies did.
Joaquin Phoenix in Talks to Play the Joker in Todd Phillips’ Standalone Movie (EXCLUSIVE) I love him but he's 43
I'd love to see that. From what I get these films aren't connected, so whatever. I don't even think Batman is going to be in it? Though, how sick would it be if they have the blue and grey suit, and just had Batman appear every once in a while?
Tom Cruise is like 60 and still makes a believable late 20/early 30 something so I'm down for Joaquin.
In my mind, the best thing about that Joker movie is that it's standalone, weird, and 100% its own thing, so something like age doesn't bother me.
Say it ain't so. Somebody squash this. 'Lobo': Michael Bay Eyed to Direct DC Superhero Movie (Exclusive)
I'd be down. Love Michael Bays action scenes and really besides transformers 2-5, I've liked his movies. 13 Hours, The Rock and Bad boys 2 are great.
All of us? As in everyone? Everyone knew the very first live action JL movie would fail? When the other movies all made a ton of money? I dunno what indicator there was for anyone to assume it'd flop. You didn't like it? Thought it was a good action movie. I also thought Pain and Gain and Armageddon were good too.
Pain and Gain was terrible. Typical Bay made the female character an attractive girl with no character development.
