While part of me is frustrated by this seemingly never-ending stream of DC properties in development, all of me is super into this particular project. Could be such a cool action film.
I never watched Chuck, so I'm not really familiar with him. According to IMDB, he's in Thor: Ragnarok too ha, though I don't recognize the character's name or know how big a role it is.
I loved Chuck. I'm still waiting on Yvonne Strahovski to luck into some comic book role someday, lol. Zachary Levi played a supporting role as one of the Warriors Three in Thor: The Dark World, which he was gonna play in the first Thor before having to drop out due to his schedule with Chuck. (The actor who replaced him dropped out of the sequel, thus the second chance at the role.) From what I've read of his very brief appearance in Ragnarok... Let's just say there's not much of it, lol.
So glad they didn’t go with John Cena. Really wish Armie Hammer would get something in these DC movies.
Not familiar with his work other than Due Date, which I don't remember much of. “Undateable” Creator Adam Sztykiel to Write Dwayne Johnson’s “Black Adam” Movie for DC, New Line (Exclusive)
Cavill talking about the negative response to his Superman, Wonder Woman, and the DCEU moving forward in a positive direction.
Eh Looking forward to the Wonder Woman stuff. The Flash stuff looks to have potential. I couldn’t care less about War Machine but open to being won over. I just realized that’s the Marvel character. What is this dudes name? My lack of caring is based on knowing basically nothing about him and seeing very little other than action shots of him in the Trailers. Not being able to think of his name is really bugging me. I think Aquman looks silly. Looks like he will have some fun moments, but hopefully he will be more than that. Batman could be good, as he was overall some of the better stuff in BvS. But hopefully the irrational anger is dialed down a bit. Which seems to be the case by the end of BvS as he seems to look upon Sups favorably. As for Superman... sigh. The biggest problem with him is he has been written so so poorly. They keep hammering down on him being some big hero and “hope” but has been portrayed as such an awful reluctant moping hero. He inspires absolutely nothing positive. He will return in what is supposed to be some dramatic moment and I will be sitting there going, “oh my god, who cares?” We already know he is alive. He still sucks. It’s gonna be such an anchor to this movie. I’ll be seeing it opening night. I am curious to see what effect Whedon had on Snyder’s foundation. It’ll be an interesting movie experience based on that situation alone. Whether it is enjoyable will be an entirely separate matter.
