i feel like you used to be able to go into a 7-11 and get a 5 pack of random comics. they usually weren't even connected. that's where I think I first got them, probably in 1999 or 2000

 

I totally did this as a kid but at Wal-Mart.

Edit: To date this anecdote, I had single issues of Maximum Carnage and X-Cutioner's Song.

 

You can get packs of 5 random comics at Ollie’s.

I know because the comic shop that employs me is one of the places they get ‘em from, and I’m in the bathroom taking a break from making some of those packs at this very moment.

The inner comics are called “guts” and have some gems but mostly trash lol.

Yeah, but specifically in the warehouse and sometimes basement, dealing with back issues in various ways. Not the retail side of things.

Also have another job during the school year at an after school program.

I had little interest in the new season of Peacemaker but now that it's officially tied to the new DCCU i will watch. I want as much of this universe as I can get.

 

Why little interest? The first season was fantastic
