Yes. It started decent enough but just got better as it went. There's a Flash crossover, an adaptation of Alan Moore's "For the Man Who Has Everything," Martian Manhunter, and more goodness. Next season actually brings in Superman himself, which should be interesting.
Agreed, I guess after hearing the description of the footage they showed at Comic Con it just sounds fresh and exciting so I'm ok with it for now. Thank you for that break down, you have some knowledge I have some Mcfarlane issues and I love them, same with Larson. They did some really cool things before jumping ship to Image.
I was in the same boat until season 3, 4 and the trailer to 5 happened...... I like him as an actor though and wish good things for his career. I wish TMNT 2 did better just for that reason.
I like Amell, but his acting can be kind of stale sometimes. There's almost no chance the DCEU ever connects with the DCTVU.
i don't blame that franchise can't be saved i like season 3 and i haven't seen the all of season 4 yet so
A lot of people hated S4 and have quit the show (or close to it) because of it. I still enjoy it, but I'm not gonna pretend it didn't peak in S2.
they are but what happens in Shield doesn't have any effect in the movies. If the DCEU was connected, we wouldn't have gotten a ton of the stories we've gotten so far because they'd effect the movies too much. Leave them how it is and don't handcuff the writing on the the show or films.
Ya, but do the movies ever reference the shows? The TV shows reference the movies and sometimes use them for context, but it doesn't work the other way around from what I remember. People are hoping The Defenders make an appearance in a future MCU movie, but I don't know how likely that is. AoS seems to just exist in the MCU world but has no bearing upon the movies really.
When Thanos is laying waste to earth in the next Avengers, I'd love to just see the Defenders in the background saving people if just for a cameo. I do doubt that they will have speaking parts though.
its confirmed that the daredevil and punisher is in infinity wars and didn't the agents of shield have something to do with captain america 2 or no?
DD and Punisher has to be a rumor at best and if anything, Cap 2 messed with the structure of Agents of Shield because......they destroyed Shield lol. That goes to show how much the movies respect the television universe.
Ya, WS affected the AoS a great deal. However the tv shows don't affect the movies at all, it seems. Marvel can safely assume that everyone that watches the shows also watches the movies, but assuming that people who watch the movies also watch the shows is too much to ask.
I really can't understand not watching something due to a single person being in a photo/video but suit yourself I guess
Because I can surmise from J.J. Abrams being on the screenshot that he is on this person's wishlist for Man of Steel 2. I am not a fan of J.J. Abrams' work, so I guessed I wouldn't really find much of the rest of the content agreeable. I also thought it'd maybe be a slightly funny/innocuous thing to say, if a bit snarky. In all seriousness, were he to helm Man of Steel 2, J.J. Abrams would bring gorgeous, colorful, vibrant action sorely missing from Man of Steel and BvS to the character. However, I find him to be such a flawed writer that I'd hope they look elsewhere. Or, if they were to hire him, I would hope that they bring in a stellar writer who can craft a far tighter, more meaningful script than anything Abrams has been able to produce so far. But that's not really how Abrams seems to like to work, so I'd prefer he not be involved. Not that I think he'd realistically be considered/consider taking the job.
