Days Away Band

Anyone miss these guys as much as I do? Mapping an Invisible World was an incredible album (and still has never gotten a vinyl press AFAIK).

 

Mapping is a classic, Ear Candy for the Headphone Trippers is also incredible. I love this band

great band, Come Back As Rain is one of the best records of its kind imo

 

Come Back As Rain is fantastic, and I don't think they have a bad album or EP. Their live album is definitely worth a listen too.

I don't know how people around here feel about Broken Into Better Shape, but I personally love it even though it's a pretty significant departure for them.

Danny Black's album from last year was cool too.

The first time hearing that crazy cymbal beat in the God and Mars bridge is like a high I could never truly replicate. The things I’d do to hear what Days Away would sound like in 2021

Bumping this thread to show some love to Days Away. I still listen to "Mapping an Invisible World" probably about once a month if not more. It's sad how little internet presence they have. I'm grateful to this site (well, ap) for introducing me to them. I would love a reunion album.
