Also Day Wave produced the Hazel English EP that came out today, which is very dreamy. Big recommend

 

This was alright! Actually really disliked the first track and was a little worried, but there wound up being plenty to enjoy. Heart To Rest is a jam

 

gonna spin this after I listen to the new Alexisonfire a few hundred times

 

pretty standard Day Wave vibes but that’s not a bad thing

 

everyone listening to this should check out his Saba collab called 2012, and then listen to Few Good Things

Finally getting around to this! Have been playing Soccer Mommy on repeat. Really digging this so far.

 

No Day Wave update with this bump - just dropping by to recommend this 2023 album by Krooked Kings, despite their bad name and bad album artwork lol. It’s pretty hooky and has a lot of Day Wave energy (he also features on a song, unbeknownst to me on first listen) and sometimes expands on the sound too. I’d recommend checking out Dog On A Chain and You Thought if you’re just looking for a sampler
