New album will be announced this Friday, with a live performance of the entire album streaming this Friday through Sunday

Been listening to live rips of the new songs they've been playing recently, really digging a lot of them ("House Parties" "The Game" and "It Comes in Waves" especially).

They haven't missed yet, so I've got no doubt this will be great.

 

Intrigued, and I like this song quite a bit, but disappointed to see that neither "House Parties" nor "You Tell the Boys" are on the record.

"House Parties" they've performed live a few times, and "You Tell the Boys" is a song Taylor posted a snippet of on TikTok. Both really wonderful.

 

Where is the tracklist, I couldn't find it.

 

Interestingly, the site I found it on no longer has it listed. It’s six tracks, all of them pretty lengthy.

 

The whole thing is a jam. Wow!

 

One of my favorite bands, hell yeah

 

They said on Instagram that House Parties is on the next record. It sounds like they have at least one, or maybe two, more records written at this point.

 

They made a Steely Dan record with this one. Jammy, pristine studio music. Love the way it crests, you can totally get why they released that live album a few weeks ago as a lead-in.

extremely same lol. felt similar with the song from the new mandy moore album: they make great music but seem like absolutely cornball people

 

I think the title is cool personally

 

The new song has instantly become one of my favorite songs from them. I can’t stop playing it.

 

Both of these new tracks are incredible. These guys do not miss.

So many fucking awesome guitar solos on this record, I'm having trouble picking my favorite.

 

Love the trajectory these guys are on. In an interview, Taylor mentioned recording this in 2020 so I hope it gets wilder from here. Lifelong fan of their work.
