Are you reviewing this Craig? Also, off topic but have you listened to the acoustic Sean McConnell cd "Undone" that was also released on Friday?
Probably not going to have the time, unfortunately, but I'm putting the finishing touches on a 2,000-word Noah feature that should run this week or next! I haven't heard the Sean McConnell record yet. Forgot it was coming last Friday. Going to check that out tomorrow, though. Thanks for the reminder.
Not that I disliked this to begin with, but it's really growing on me with every listen. I wish I hadn't listened to 3 songs before it released though.
Scorching. I might too. Not sure yet. Need more time with this one. A lot of stuff has come out in the past month, so I feel like I haven't listened to anything enough.
i saw them the other night. it was mostly seated that night at the venue, didn’t quite fit the vibe right with his full band and all
I agree. He knows what works best for him and he almost perfected it on this record. It's a shame that it will continue to be slept on. "Time" is a perfect song.
Honestly I wish it was seated. He played for 1:30+. Seating would have made more sense for Molly too. Though his live act was really energetic.
She did really well with just vox and guitar for 45 minutes I thought. That can get kind of stale sometimes.
I really want to see David live again. That was such a great set. Small dive-y venue in Cambridge, MA I saw him at, older couples were dancing. It was a really beautiful night.
Awesome, glad you enjoy. I've been obsessed ever since I found out about him a couple weeks ago. I have a lot of thinking to do about a "best of 2017" list but both Ramirez and Martin are going to be pretty high up there. Edit: also do you have a favorite song off that Martin cd? It's all so good but I think mine are Long Gone Now, Billy Burroughs, and Poor Man
