Secretly hoping my brother somehow miraculously doesn't like this so I can trade him something for his vinyl haha
Not a huge fan of his. Really liked Strange Negotiations though. Haven't heard any of these songs before. Should I give it a go? I imagine the answer is yes.
finally listened to this, and I really enjoyed it. Teardrops is my early fave. also, ironically listening to the "bonus track" interview about his coming around on Spotify, but I'm using my free Tidal trial.
Don't really care for the first song too much but the rest is pretty golden. Any other time this album would be getting more plays but Modern Baseball and The Hotelier have taking too many of my listens lately
This has really been growing on me the more I put it on. Trouble With Boys and Someone Else's Bet are probably my current favorites but it kind of changes every couple listens. Really wish this guy had a bigger following.
been a dreary, rainy morning so this is hitting the spot right now. seriously has some of the best work bazan has ever done.
I tell you what Control is an incredible album. I can listen to it over and over. Absolutely stunning. Very prescient to todays political and religious climate.
i wish i loved the other Pedro albums as much. i like them a lot, but Control is possibly my favorite straight up indie rock album of all time.
I actually laughed the first time I heard "Options" because of how wildly upsetting it is. Brilliant album. Achilles Heel underrated as well
