Seeing Count the Stars in '03 with Homegrown and Plain White T's was a formidable experience for me. I became a fan and followed Dave's career afterwards as a booking agent.
My username is from another band from the same region and era. Tough day for fans of that era and of his booking agent career.

I believe Daniel Williams, formerly of The Devil Wears Prada was also onboard this jet and lost his life too.

  7. Read the initial NYT report about the crash this morning. Couldn’t believe it when I read hours later than Dave and Dan were onboard. My heart goes out to all involved.

Tell me what I missed Supporter

Only met Dave once but he was so nice/funny and easy to be casual with and I heard nonstop good stories about him from everyone I knew. Incredibly sad losses.

    England.

Looking at the weather I’m amazed they were still able to attempt approach when it was below minimums. The tower was closed and visibility was non-existent. Sounds like he voiced concerns going in but then attempted. Potentially clipped a power line. Incredible that no one on the ground seems to have been injured / killed but doesn’t take away what a tragic loss of life and talent it is. Just awful.

I read that pilots are able to turn on runway lights on their own but the SD airports lights were out of order or something. Tragic, and potentially some fault of the airport? Just wish we can go back in time
