Yeah Gata crushed that episode. I was kind of hoping they were gona go through with the live surgery just to see how that played out, but a very feel good ending.

Gata should be the main character going forward and dicky is just that asshole side character you have to tolerate

 

I feel like there wasn't as much press around this season, but I do wonder if it was a conscious choice to make Dave even more of an asshole this season.

 

Finale ripped. Am gonna be a little disappointed if next season shows Dave barely having learned a lesson though, hopefully they actually commit to this arc for him and show him being more considerate going forward

All the people that surround Dave are so awesome, seeing them all watch the VMA performance knowing how they each contributed to that moment was really cool

The entire billboard scene was hilarious

 

I mean, his name is Dave too now so it works. I’d be down haha.

 

Gata fucking rules. This show is fucking great.

 

I read an interview with Taco recently and he said that Dicky is like the same person that you see on screen and I don't know how to feel about the quote lol

Love the high note this ends on. Honestly I was tearing up at the last couple minutes. My only gripe with this show is that I wish the episodes were maybe like 10 minutes longer to flesh things out a bit more.

Starting season 2 today. I loved the first season last year and binged it all in one day, which is something I do not do.

This show is the best at creating conflict. Dave going for the initial sit down with Kareem is a great example.

 

Great season. Last 2 eps were so good and made for a strong ending.

 

Season two RULED! I really enjoyed the first one, but making Dave less whiny and oblivious was a great move, even if they only slightly tweaked his character. The scene that got me the most was at the dinner table with his parents because I've felt those emotions before.
