Yeah I just finished listening to this album for the first time in probably years and it's way better than I remember it being, and I loved it when I first heard it too
Just checked my itunes library info and it says I last played this album in June 2018, so yeah it's been quite some time haha. Really glad I revisited this. I had practically forgotten all about this band until last night
I was reading an interview with her the other week and realised she grew up not far down the road from where I did. Not interesting for anyone else but whatever.
Back in June, they mentioned they’d been “paused” for a while. But they did have multiple shows scheduled last year (canceled for obvious reasons), so I’m not under the impression that they’re entirely gone. The cancellation announcement was signed by all three members and said they hope to see audiences soon
Turns out the Ex:Re thing is an orchestral reimagining of the record, and not actually a new one But more importantly, Daughter’s manager confirmed in IG comments that there should be new Daughter this year!
