I swear everyone has hiking or kayaking or visiting other countries in their bios on dating sites. No way all these fuckers are out there doing that shit. Just be honest and say your watching cat videos on YouTube or scroll through Netflix for two hours before giving up and going to bed.

I came in here to post basically the same thing. I really like this girl but feel like I need to see her or talk to her several times a week to keep her interested in me? Even when she hasn't communicated a lack of interest or anything. Dating is weird and hard especially in a big city

 

The thing that I guess annoys me about the hiking thing is that hiking is a long walk through nature usually along a dirt trail with varying levels of elevation and it's supposed to be moderately difficult.

What most people mean is that they walked for 30 minutes at their local parks sidewalk path. Which is still great people are getting outside and being active! But don't make it more than what it is.

 

So there's no hiking here in the plains I guess

 

you can go way west to big bend. it's pretty dope but also like an 8 hr drive haha.

 

A good idea for an early relationship date is a trip where you're stuck together for 16+ hours

 

This would stress me out haha

 

State parks typically have good hiking trails. I'm not talking having to climb mountains but a suburb park doesn't count haha

I try and go hiking like once a month because I'm trying to be more active.

it's helped a lot tbh with that and batting cages.

 

Chase would probably be the ideal road trip companion honestly cuz he'd just put on podcasts which are great for road trips and you wouldn't have to make small talk the whole time or fight over music choices
