As a teenager, my friends cat attacked my foot when I was laying on the couch in his basement. Later, we were leaving to go to a friends place. As we started to walk up the stairs, the cat that attacked my foot sat half way up the stairs and each time I put my foot on the bottom step he would hiss at me and that's the story of how at 17 I was trapped in a basement by a house cat for 20 minutes.

 

Apparently in addition to having a thing for musicians I also have a thing for guys who volunteer to coach little league. Who knew? It's all so cliche. Vom.

Having once been held captive by a cat, I disliked them for a very long time. My girlfriend's two cats are awesome, though. Now I've changed my opinion and quite like cats. I still would prefer no pets, though.

For the record, my cat is a total asshole. He terrorizes the dogs in the neighborhood and will randomly attack me for no reason but I love him for it.

So I just had a therapy appointment and the psychologist said it's not necessary or healthy or something to need to talk to a new person you're seeing every day, or have a date every week, or plans at any given time

So, uh, what do y'all think about that

 

I think every relationship is different but for the most part I totally agree. I made the mistake in past relationships of being sorta clingy and needing to keep in contact with my partner like all the time (and I beat myself up about it to this day) and it's really unhealthy. It's also super hard to have that self control when you meet someone new and you really enjoy each other's company and wanna hang out all the time. I dunno, I don't think there's like a concrete rule just make sure you're each getting your space imo.

 

I am embarrassed by how much time I have spent on Tinder. It's just so easy and dumb!

 

Yeah the way I've been thinking for the most part is if I haven't heard from them in a few days, or if they don't text me just to talk, then they must have lost interest. The idea that that might not be true is totally new to me
