Two new Twin Forks songs and a Band of Horses cover for download here: Folsom Records: Folsom Records Presents: Twin Forks, Dan Layus, The Social Animals
Does anyone have Dusk and Summer on vinyl? Man, thats a hard one to find on vinyl. If it ever was pressed haha. I could be searching for a ghost.
There's a lot of great albums in general from that era that were never pressed (or had very limited pressings). It was right before the resurgence really took off and I feel like a lot of record companies were probably confused on whether they should ACTUALLY spend money cutting vinyl in the mid 2000's or not haha... clearly not much of a question anymore
I feel like the Dashboard stuff will get repressed pretty soon. More than I can say for other mid-decade stuff like Butch Walker's Letters.
It's the only record in my personal top 10 that I don't own on vinyl. Unfortunately, I kind of doubt I ever will. But who knows.
Most days, it's: 1. Bruce Springsteen - Born to Run 2. Butch Walker - Letters 3. Jimmy Eat World - Futures 4. Jack's Mannequin - Everything in Transit 5. Counting Crows - August and Everything After 6. The Wallflowers - Bringing Down the Horse 7. U2 - The Joshua Tree 8. Noah Gundersen - Ledges 9. The Dangerous Summer - Reach for the Sun 10. Green Day - American Idiot Butch Walker's Stay Gold will probably be in there soon, but I never add anything until it's been out for a year. I think it's coming. Now that they reissued the first two, I have a lot more faith.
Cool interview. Apparently he can release a new album right now if he wanted to. Hopefully we hear something new soon and get a full band/acoustic release like Alter The Ending was haha.
