  1. I think you’re right. It was definitely a phase issue. Could have been one of the other vocal mics too. Especially as it reverberated off the walls in that (seemingly) small room.

  2. My wife and I joked that was the same place they did blink’s falsies video lol

  3. That’s funny haha. I think it’s actually the same place that Emo YouTube guy filmed his video with Chris C though!

The Shade Of Poison Trees is, once again, fulfilling my weekly musical pleasures. Happens quite often with that album.

Picked up a first 1st pressing of Alter The Ending for $20 at my local record store. Expired download card included. Not a bad deal. Jumped right on it! I still adore the record a lot. Water & Bridges remains my favorite from it.

I really just need/want Shade Of Poison Trees on vinyl and I’ll be fulfilled with my DC collection. Discog seem to have a few for sale.

And even though crooked shadows isn’t my favorite, I’m happy I still have that on vinyl.

Also...there is definitely a music video for Saints and Sailors, right? Why the hell is it not up on youtube anymore?

I just watched it a few months ago. it was a concert video and the camera panned around to different people in the crowd while they we're doing different things. It was a scripted type thing. You get it.

it was like neon lines drawing all over the screen and the band looked like they were drawn too i believe. Like Take on Me style a little bit but with a black background and neon lines zipping all over the screen iirc

With all the posts that Chris and Further Seems Forever have been making about the 20 year anniversary of The Moon Is Down, I really thought we were gonna get a tour & vinyl repress announcement today. Color me disappointed : (

The Chris albums are the only FSF album's I've ever really gotten into

Agree 100% with the last three posts lol

I really regret not catching them on that Penny Black tour. Still play Engines and Rescued Trained regularly when I need to get pumped up.

That live performance of Rescue Trained at the Troubadour is so good.

Maybe in October 2022 we can get a 10 year remaster to fix some of the... questionable production decisions on it.

Uhhh How to Start a Fire is their best album.

    I’ll leave now.

(honestly like everything they’ve put out but HTSAF-TMID-HN-PB)

How To Start A Fire is indeed their best album. Even the 3rd one is pretty great. I always forget he passed. So sad.
