I got A Mark, A Mission last year from Urban Outfitters for like $10 on clearance. I checked their site and it’s no longer there.
"Here's a song about feeling bad then feeling better....................I heard about your trip. I heard about your souvenirs. I heard about the cool breeze in the cool nights with the cool guys that you spent them with." Emo.
Same here. It was a dark blue variant. I need to scan the UO website more often, there's always some gems on there for cheap.
Yeah I’ve had a look around and they seem to be going for quite a lot now (especially with postage to England thrown in). I’ve heard the quality isn’t the best on the UO blue so waiting for a repress or a (fairly) reasonably priced black pressing.
Not sure if it’s been mentioned, but on my Swiss Army Romance record, it incorrectly has A Plain Morning listed as being on side A. Whoops!
yep I complained about this, but it might've been in the vinyl thread. Pretty bad screw ups there. Hopefully everything's fine with Unplugged!
Found a mint copy of A Mark, A Mission original pressing for $60. Finally the DC collection is coming together!
Listened to the Twin Forks LP this morning and it has to be Chris' most underappreciated work he's ever done. It holds up well.
i was just listening to Cassino and thinking about how it’s too bad Nick couldn’t do both it and Northstar. Song writing and vocals worked well with both bands. Kinda feel the same way about enjoying Chris more acoustic stuff like DC and Twin Forks and his faster music like Further Seems Forcer and full band DC.
I wonder if Chris will ever reconnect with John to write new music. John's influence is deeply missed on Crooked Shadows.
