This "Love Yourself" cover is so good

 

Alter the Ending and Twin Forks are excellent.

Will check this out tonight. Excited for JB cover.

 

I wish I didn't hate the lyrics to "Love Yourself" so much, because the cover is otherwise quite lovely.

 

Couldn't agree more. Most of them either have never listened to Dashboard and just hate it because it's been popular or are are basically "anything after the very first EP is commercialized crap." It's so irritating, the guy is immensely talented.

 

You're either crazy or didn't listen to the covers. I don't understand how one can do a better job doing these acoustically. And they all fit his voice perfectly. I haven't listen to Dashboard since 2005 but this makes me want to go back and check out what I've missed. Also I had never heard of Sororioty Noise before last night. Holy shit it's all I'm going to be listening to for weeks now

 

"Sex" comes off pretty creepy in this rendition, haha.

 

I listened to the Sex cover just to see if he'd say fuck. Disappointed.

 

Why cover a song if you're going to alter it?

 

I'm digging all of these and Alter The Ending is great

 

At least I know these songs didn't have clue of all of the covers on that album a few years ago where his voice sounded terrible.

Twin Forks was so good. Made me feel at ease with his voice and songwriting after above mentioned cover album

 

Thought Covered in the Flood was pretty good too.

I'd love to find a downloadable version too though! Interetsting song choices, and I'm all for Julien and SR, sure, but all of them are tight actually : )

 

covers where the artist makes it their own are the best covers.

 

I agree. I meant when they alter the lyrics.
