Wonder why there's a break between Denver and Portland? I would assume at Salt Lake show would get added. Boise could be a stop too but they played here this summer and someone was a dick to Chris at the show so I don't know that he would want to play here again.
KISSISSIPPI!!! so happy for zoe i'd be tempted to go to this and leave before dashboard if this wasn't like 40 fucking dollars
Whether or not I go to this will be completely determined by Dashboard's setlist. I don't think I've seen them since the '04 Honda Civic Tour. Side note; holy fuck was that thing stacked: Dashboard, Get Up Kids, Say Anything, Thrice, MCS, Hot Water Music, and the Format.
Just got a GA floor ticket for the Boston date, after thinking about it for a bit... The bill was too perfect to pass up. It just feels "right," albeit in a slightly odd way. I'm curious to see how the crowd reacts to Beach Slang. Also? I've never seen Kississippi before, so that'll be fun. I just hope Dashboard adds "Just What To Say" to the set list as a main set closer. They probably won't, but... Hearing that song live would give me heart eyes.
Disappointed in the set list, to be honest. It's fine and all but... Was really hoping for a few songs off the new album. Any word on what Beach Slang have been playing?
I'm glad I decided to grab tickets to this. Super bummed he's not playing anything from Alter the Ending and (basically) nothing from A Mark, a Mission. I'd argue those are probably his two best albums.
So I should be studying for class but instead decided to put together a dream DC setlist. Thoughts? Ones in italics are ones where the numbering matters, everything else could be shifted around: 1) The Swiss Army Romance 2) The Best Deceptions 3) Rapid Hope Loss 4) Remember to Breathe 5) Carry This Picture 6) Turpentine Chaser 7) The Good Fight 8) The Brilliant Dance 9) Screaming Infidelities 10) Thick As Thieves 11) Vindicated 12) Stolen 13) Until Morning 14) The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most 15) So Long, So Long 16) Saints and Sailors 17) Again I Go Unnoticed 18) Several Ways to Die Trying Encore 19) We Fight 20) Hands Down
Check again. They've been changing. For You To Notice, Brilliant Dance, So Impossible, Age Six Racer, Shirts and Gloves, and Catch You are just a few of the ones I've seen have made their way in
Yeah, I changed my mind. But I'm pretty sure those last few they've only been playing at the VIP set before the show.
