    Understandable considering they haven't been active in a couple decades now and his priorities have shifted and he doesn't have time to be in a band anymore. On the positive side, it should be an indication that they're going harder in on this reunion and are likely planning on doing increased gigging in addition to the new music announced earlier this year.

    I wonder if this contributed to the cancellation of their originally scheduled show in Oakland, CA tomorrow 8/16. I was so bummed at the sudden cancellation announced last week. I waited 20+ years for it! Maybe they will do some full on touring, and I will see them again at some point.

    When I saw them in May out in Santa Ana, they had Russell Dixon (ex New Year’s Day) filling in for Darren , they said that he just got a new job and he couldn’t get off.

    Russell crushed it at the show was so much fun

    Attended some great Homegrown shows back in the early 2000s. Funny guys.

    I messaged them on IG, and they responded back that there was a death. So looks like some serious personal matters. And they said they were sorry to postpone so I am glad that they used that word instead of cancelled so hopefully I will get a chance to see soon.
