Although not technically under the "Dark Universe" banner anymore, after The Invisible Man, I'm really looking forward to more of these mid-budget reimaginings.

The Dark Universe was one and done. If it would have gone their way, we would have had Johnny Depp as The Invisible Man.

 

I would like to see another attempt at a “dark universe”. Not necessarily the way the dark universe was approaching it, but seeing the classic universal monsters on screen at the same time again would be good.

in honor of the super moon my sister wanted to watch werewolf movies so we started with the original Wolf Man last night. still so good.

Marvel has proven that really the only way to successfully do a cinematic universe is to have somebody that "gets" the properties providing a steady, singular guiding hand to make sure that everything follows a clear and consistent vision. If Leigh Whannell is going to be the DUCU version 2's Kevin Feige, maybe it'll turn out better than the DUCU version 1 did.
