Are you summoning people? Also make sure you get the fuck out of his way when he starts to glow. He'll charge you, but then kinda back off.
Okay, started my pyromancer class. Feels tougher so far than melee since the enemies are quicker and it feels like casting takes forever.
People do not know what they're doing in this game. I'm not even at Dancer yet, but apparently I'm high enough level to help people out with him. It's pretty obvious what his attack patterns are. Just stay away, use ranged combat whenever possible, and wait for an opening to rush him. These guys I'm helping out keep bum rushing him right out the gate, and die so quickly.
Every time I beat a boss I want to celebrate, but that just means another absurdly huge level to fuck me up. I've put an absurd amount of hours into all the SoulsBorne games but this one is just....daunting. I feel like individual enemies are easier, but you have to fight way more than in Des and Dark Souls (1) and some of these levels are just massive. I'm digging it, but have a long way to go.
made it through ithiryll dungeon today. great sequence. took me at least an hour but i made it through with only 3 deaths and all souls intact by the end of it!
About to fight the boss at Farron Keep. Game didn't give me too much trouble until i got into this area. I've been invaded probably 15 times in the last couple of hours.
Enjoyed the Lord of Cinder fight against (mid-late? game spoilers) Aldrich. Good fight and it was super cool to be back in Anor Londo. Diving straight into the Dancer was a little frightening but that boss was easy so I was fine. I didn't get to play much the past couple days so I'm excited to really dive back in today.
I've definitely been invaded the 12 hours of this game more times than my playthrough of Bloodborne and DS2.
This is the first time I've ever played one of these games online but I've only been invaded once. Do you guys use ember a lot?
I am always. NPC invaders give you weapons, gear and ring so that's reason enough, but the health bonus is very nice. The invasions are a little too often though. Some areas I'll just get overwhelmed, it's madness.
I just returned (officially) to Anor Londo and I am losing my mind. This game is incredible. It's exactly what I wanted Dark Souls 2 to be, and god damn did that game disappoint. This is the true sequel.
How did people get to that place earlier in the game? I still loved Dark Souls 2 and think it's a fantastic game although 1, 3 and Bloodborne are definitely better.
