definitely still recommend watching season 3 especially, and I'd say while it's left open it does still work as a finale even if not intended that way. so you can still feel satisfied.
As much as comics like Waid's Daredevil & Walker's Power Man and Iron Fist exist in a tone more in line with what I expect from Disney Plus... I can't imagine these shows' casts & world being translated into that context. There's too much Miller, Bendis, Brubaker, & Ennis in their DNA.
That restaurant execution scene alone in LC season 2 is reason enough for Disney not to put this on their family friendly service lol. Shame though, I loved all of this.
Yeah other than that quick little scene at the very end, the finale actually seemed like a great note to end the series on. Things really come full circle
What a bummer to hear. Still weird that this seems to come as *some* sort of a surprise to him. Clearly this was inevitable. I don't think many people expected a season 4. What I hate the most about all of this is that every headline for these shows is "Netflix cancels X". These headlines should really be placing the blame soley on Disney, and it bugs me that Netflix is getting a bad wrap for it.
Oh yeah, Bojack is one of the goats but I expect/hope next year's season will be the last, I don't see how they can sustain the storytelling model any longer than that never watched Ozark, Black Mirror started well but quickly became eye-rollingly silly
Netflix Wanting To Shorten Marvel Show Seasons Was Reportedly Big Issue Leading To Recent Cancellations
That's dumb. All of those Marvel shows would've been much better if they were only 8-10 eps each season.
Shortening worked better for most but the last season of Daredevil didn't waste one of the 13. But yeah I'd take shortened over nothing lol
I would have agreed with you 15 mins ago. A little bit into the Karen episode and ugh. Hopefully it turns around. I'll say that it doesn't help that I now know there are only 3 eps left and I don't want to waste time on a flashback.
Nope. Didnt turn around. I find it funny that I turned to the wife and said how unrealistic and unnatural that whole flashback played out when this a show about a blind dude flipping around NYC.
I groaned when it began and it was apparent it was a bottle Karen episode but I guess I had less of a problem with it haha. Was it necessary? No lol
Thank god the last 15 mins of the ep wasn't the flash back, which saved it. The fight in the Church was pretty cool. I just really thought the acting and the way things played out were not good, which is weird for this show since it nails everything else haha.
