Ehhhhh I’m not really into it as much as everyone here is. The Matt/Foggy/Karen relationship was the heart of the show for me. I get why they did it story wise, but as a viewer it just sucks. Needle drop for the end credits of episode two completely killed the moment for me
I'm not opposed to Foggy and Karen temporarily leaving as an opportunity to bring in other characters from the comics and put Matt in new situations, just so long as they eventually return.
Real burning question, when is Rosario Dawson coming back and becoming the Night Nurse she was always meant to be?
Yep, great first two episodes, loved them. The needle drop at the end of the first episode was PERFECT
From what I can tell on Twitter there's a ridiculous amount of people complaining about CGI in this lol of course
There’s a little suspect CGI at the beginning, but it’s totally overshadowed by the atmosphere and the emotion. Moaners will moan, though
I feel like this nitpicking culture kinda makes me unwillingly look for things. But there was nothing that took me out of the open at all. I did somehow notice Bullseye landed completely on the sidewalk and then in the next shot was mostly in the road haha. But who cares, loved both episodes
Yeah the CGI in the beginning with DD jumping and swinging around did honestly look like shit and took me out of it for a second. But I got over it after that second because what I was watching was still awesome. I mentioned this to my friend, and I know that this is a TV show, but Marvel really needs to step their shit up on their CGI. Movies in the first MCU saga shouldn't look better than the ones in this new saga. Quantumania being the worst offender probably.
The only thing that took me out of it a bit was that the noise of him swinging from his billy clubs sounded like Spider-Man's webs thwipping
I've said this before, and maybe I just don’t know enough about CGI to tell when something looks "bad", but I really don't know what anyone is referring to when comments like this get made. Aside from early examples like The Mummy Returns, the only films I've seen that I could see what I would call bad CGI are DCEU films. I've yet to feel this way about a Marvel production, and I don't know what to look for that other people are seeing.
I don’t really think it’s something everyone just notices, so it’s not like you’re weird or anything. Idk what it is, but I guess I’m just more sensitive to noticing it? It doesn’t really affect my enjoyment like the people that cry online though. It’s only really a nitpick to me, unless it’s that dead person revived with CGI bullshit.
Uh, most of it was done in a bar. There’s not even a valley. *pushes glasses up* did you even watch, bro?
This was mentioned above, but the dirty cop having what appears to be a punisher logo tatted on his wrist could be foreshadowing a very interesting path that I would not have ever expected a Disney+ show to go down. Very curious about that.
Punisher killing abusive cops will definitely pull volunteer officers out of their rooms and onto message boards In such a polarized political climate, anyone who doesn’t acknowledge police brutality will see this as a ‘last laugh’ and take offense. They’ll always feel the need to one-up any story that doesn’t align with their worldview (even if, upon deeper reflection, they might actually agree with it) because they perceive any outside observation of their worldview as an attack.
Fight scene at the end of the second ep was the best part of both eps. Ok first two episodes, hoping it gets better as it goes though
