Great first two episodes

 

Clearly this is setting up Agatha season 2

 

The Kingpin and The Punisher both made their first appearances in Spider-Man.

 

I don't know the details of the deal Sony and Disney have, but I do know for a fact that they share joint custody of Kingpin and do have some stipulations around his use.

Punisher I imagine was exempt because he is largely his own character in the comics and was treated as a separate license even back when Sony had full command.

I suspect the difference is mainly down to where a character spends most of their time. Hammerhead shows up almost exclusively in Spider-Man comics.

May I also ask why you think that character is Hammerhead? I haven't seen the episode yet but I'm reading people mentioning a member of the Tracksuit Mafia from Hawkeye and I'm wondering if that's who you mean?

 

first episode was great but like the other Disney shows some stuff just feels subtly off. pacing has always been wacky with D+ stuff and it definitely feels like it's gonna be a thing here too. fully did a double take when Fisk was already mayor at the end of episode 1, feels like they could have built that up a few episodes at least
Benson and Moorhead killed it with the directing of course and the writing is mostly there (coulda lived without Tony Soprano Jr's zoomerspeak dialogue lol). the actors don't seem to have lost a step though, Charlie's reaction when they sentenced Bullseye to life gave me chills

 

It was just a gut feeling "jeez wouldn't this be cool!" reaction while watching it. No need to get this pedantic about it lol

Feel like he's gonna get arrested, be accused of not being blind, and have to prove that he is or something like that? Idk

That cop he threw down on his neck has to either be paralyzed or dead at this point

 

I feel like Matt could have absolutely shown more restraint in that final scene lol he could have subdued them without major injury and at least escaped from them

 

the one he was tracking has to be dead, felt like there was a clear snap and bend when his neck hit the ground

 

in the comics doesn't Foggy fake his own death at one point?

I can imagine dirty cops with Punisher logo tattoos probably pissing certain groups of people off.
