10 minutes from opening to title credits just blew every other MCU Disney+ series to date out of the fucking water.

 

the track suit wearing mobster at the five families meeting is gonna end up being Hammerhead later I am betting

 

hopping out until i catch up with the other seasons and get a chance to watch. i'm aware of the notable elements of this first episode, but that won't ruin my excitement to watch it eventually. enjoy, y'all!

Great first episode

 

Enjoyed the first episode. I’ll check out the 2nd after work tomorrow.

 

Diving into 2 now.

 

He's an overarching street level villain. Not just regulated to SM in the comics.

 

But Spider-Man is where he made his first appearance, so that could be the problem.

 

He is very definitely known largely for Spider-Man though, and it's where he's made the majority of his appearances.

 

Some of this is really fun to watch considering today’s climate. /s

 

Really enjoyed both of those episodes. Not as great as the Netflix show, but still great.

 

Oh boy. Matty is in for a rough season.

Solid first couple of eps. I'm wondering if Karen is just largely written off the show or if she's coming back at some point? I haven't kept up with news.

 

This is based on (I believe) an older version of what the show became, but I’ll spoil tag to play it safe as I have no clue if things were fully changed or merely shifted around.

Based on leaks/rumors, I am fairly certain that she was supposed to die originally. Both her and Foggy. My guess is they decided to keep her alive but didn’t have her written into at least the first part of the season. Maybe she’ll be back this season, maybe next season. I have no idea. Based on what’s going on so far, I’d lean to saying it’ll be next season. Given Matt’s new gf and her additional role as therapist to the Fisk’s, I don’t see her dropping off early. But with Punisher being around, Karen could be back for that dynamic. I don’t remember what was shown in any trailers to see if they indicate a return or not.

TLDR: no clue

 

First episode was great. Not surprised

 

On Karen: Deborah Ann Woll has already gone on record as being in Season 2.

I mean Marvel TV boss is the one that said it, so I guess no reason to beat around it.

 

He's gonna be a spooky ghost who haunts Matt with his slammin' dance moves.

 

Or Matt has the same powers as Ashton Kutcher in The Butterfly Effect and he’s going to mess with time to fix everything, which is going to piss off Kang and lead to…oh right.

That's why they need Matthew Lillard. To get the Mystery Machine and sort out the ghost. Zoinks, Murdock!

 

I want to watch the eps but I'm not feeling like rewatching the first three seasons, is there a solid summary somewhere? I remember S3 the most as it was the most recent.
