Hope Charles ends up forming a Defenders Thunderbolts-style team with Bullseye, Hellcat, Mary, Davos, and Bushmaster.
Perhaps Charles could be the "round up" guy in a Heroes for Hire show. With him hiring Bullseye, they could always merge ideas from Villains for Hire.
It would also be the best place to bring in, dare I say, Xialing. A show surrounding her and the Ten Rings organization was rumored, but that's 100% not happening. Team her up with Bullseye, Misty Knight, Colleen Wing, whoever, whatever. Having all them work together under the guidance of Lillard would be peak
It could be a transactional arrangement. The New Avengers don't really answer to Valentina, but both parties get something out of it.
Charles feels way too sketchy, I don't think Misty and Colleen would be up for it unless there was something important in it for them. I already don't like that Luke took him up but the vibe I get is that Jessica was the original target and Luke did it for her, but I guess we'll probably find out more about this next season. But anyway, that's why I listed people who already are morally questionable but also have the capacity to do some good if targeted properly.
I was just spitballing due to doubting that both Heroes for Hire and Villains for Hire can get their own shows. If anything, I see Marvel merging the two. As for next season, I feel like Charles will be involved with Iron Fist's reintroduction. Maybe he is a target for Bullseye or an ideal recruit that declines?
I swear to fuck if they reintroduce Danny without mentioning what happened to him and Ward, I will riot.
Genuinely do not understand wtf peoples problem is with Angela being shown using her powers. It's fucking dope.
I also don’t know it will work with Wing receiving the powers at the end of season 2 but I’m sure that won’t be explained either. These loose ends will probably be “a story for another time”
Can we all acknowledge how fucking bizarre the courtroom scenes were this season? A panel of 3 judges with no jury? What?
That was the point, it was a sham extrajudicial tribunal set up by the Fisk administration to give the guise of due process but really they're just throwing the vigilantes into a hole.
Well, the sudden change of heart was what I considered unrealistic haha. If they're so corrupt, why not continue spewing their bullshit?
The vibe I got watching was that they had the fear of Fisk looming over their heads but they could see the writing on the wall and an opportunity.
Punisher thing was pretty fun, nice to see Curtis at least. how many times are they gonna do Frank finding one more person involved in his family's death though, half of New York must've been there at this point
