I like seeing all these characters back, but man, this lacks the juice for me as the original series.
The driving point of both seasons is that the dance between Daredevil and Kingpin is an endless cycle. If Kingpin goes to jail, he'll only build power again, get out, and start the cycle anew. This way, exile, he still has the threat of imprisonment if he comes back, but it's more about getting him out of their hair. Should he have been killed? I think that undercuts the message about mercy and grace the season was going for. I'm not going to bother arguing about whether this is a realistic solution; reality is stretched pretty thin at the moment. I'm curious if they’ll have what Daniel said eat at him. They need to pay that off in some way.
understand all that, there just had to a way to send him to exile that wasn't so... dumb lol. they arrested Matt for attempted murder not Fisk for multiple provable murders? c'mon lol it would be nice if Buck underwent some character development as a result of Daniel, I'm not holding my breath though considering it took until the edit room to decide Daniel actually died. most of s3 is probably filmed already
Fisk didn't kill anyone. Arkham games Batman can throw guys off buildings without breaking his vow not to kill.

Matt must be a shitty lawyer to not at least get a plea deal or reduced sentence. Even if Fisk didn’t kill anyone… there were multiple instances of attempted murder on surveillance. So what exactly was Luke doing? I kind of half expected a “well Spider Man can watch the city” during that normal life conversation. even after all that fuck I love the show and it’s too tier marvel for me. Like how can you do something this good but then so much of the rest is lackluster
Sick finale. But yeah, Fisk getting away with public murder and Matt getting thrown in prison with no pardon from the Governor after she seemed to have no problem with him being DD seems very silly. Seeing Karen and Matt's first date spot was nice. Seeing Luke again was great! Lots of great character moments and acting in this one. It flew by so fast.
Tbh he did look visibly shaken up when he told Fisk that Daniel did not turn in BB. Weird to see Buck show even a hint of emotion on his face.
forgot to say before but I was happy to see Ellison again too, he was one of the best recurring Defendersverse characters. him and Brett coming back got really overshadowed by Jess and Luke haha, a shame these seasons are so short cos they have to move at such a fast pace
Gotta say, don't love the rumors that Matt was thrown in prison just for Spidey to break him out in his movie. I would want Matt to get out of prison the legal way.

Matt telling Fisk to take the deal after you know he could hear Fisk killing all those people really does feel so off
it only matters that he himself didn't kill anyone... i guess... maybe? it's one of the few traits of Matt I have issues with. though it feels like he overcorrected after he thought he killed Dex
