In dark mode I can still see the text of the link through the spoiler tag btw. Probably better to, for example, have it say "spoiler" and make that the link
Of what, him on the ground getting shot? Literally everything about the scene would have stayed the same.
I mean, it would cost time and money for him to lie on a floor for a minute to get footage to patch it in. I can totally understand why they didn't do that. And all he'd be doing is lying completely still, which isn't exactly a demonstration of his acting talent.
i mean, it seems they weren't 100% sold on the outcome of that altercation and left it to where they could change if they wanted. the CGI being the gunshot and slight head movement isn't really that big of a deal, is it? lol
At least he went out doing the right thing. If I was an actor and my character either had to either go out dying after doing what was noble, or continue on when the arc no longer felt organic, I’d choose the former.
I don't generally favor killing off a character because I hate "putting toys back in the toybox", but in this case I legitimately don't see where Daniel's arc could have gone had he lived. He mainly existed as a foil to BB and Buck and once both of those reached their natural conclusion, there wasn't really anything left to say for Daniel.
I think if my boss told me to commute to the office for 30 seconds of work and that I'm also going to be fired right after I'd be kinda pissed myself, but I can't speak for Gandolfini lol
Speaking of CG, did anyone else think that Matthew Lillard’s character’s glasses were CG’d to give the bottle look when talking to Jessica? Something about it seemed so off to me.
What do you think they're thinking about all of these shenanigans? On a sidenote, this just made me think about Yelena, which made me think about Natasha, which made me think it's unfortunate we never got to have a Daredevil/Black Widow team-up.
On a sidenote, read today during Season 1 there was apparently a script or treatment written for a bottle episode where Echo meets the Punisher that may or may not still happen in the future. A woman who can't hear and a man who won't listen. It's ripe for comedy!
also yelled "oh shit" when Matt got shot. thought for sure we were about to lose someone important in that garage.
I feel like Cherry is safe for a while, it'd be way too tragic for him to come back after surviving that heart attack only to be immediately mowed down.
