Personally, I think it’s just a coincidence. But thought it was a fun thing to see.

 

Going back and watching the whole sequence, it sure feels intentional

 

Also the shot of him flying towards the window with Bullseye is so damn good

 

this show can still feel a bit uncanny valley at times how it's almost recreating the Netflix show but just gets it slightly off (that bizarre slowmo shot of Fisk punching the other boxer is the latest example of an... odd choice for me). but it's definitely starting to pick up its own momentum and click together more after the Frankensteinness of s1
