I don’t think he was aiming for her, I think Matt just reacted. But I have no idea obviously.

    Solid episode.

Theory I just saw on threads: this is Matt faking his death. This allows him to go daredevil more full time and his identity can’t be outed if he is dead.

    I sort of like it.

I took it as if anyone is gonna bring down Fisk it’s gonna be him

Matt broke his tooth on purpose right?

He was definitely aiming for Fisk. I took it as the payoff for the "A good man defends his worst enemy" line earlier

Why do you think that? Matt is definitely prone to reactionary decisions.

Yeah, this is what I got from it. Bullseye said it just moments before.

I just thought that he was so off the rails that he decided to break his tooth so he could get out and find out who killed Foggy but now that I've slept on it I do think it's more likely that he just went off the rails and broke his tooth on accident as opposed to on purpose.

wow fantastic episode, crazy how much stronger visually this is when Benson and Moorhead are directing. some incredible shots and use of colour

was kinda hoping the Matt/Dex prison scene would go a bit harder but I'm probably just comparing it to the one in s2 with Fisk too much lol

I agree this was one of the best episodes of the season. I also think Matt jumped in front of Fisk knowing full-well it was aiming at him. Matt doesn’t want Fisk to be killed, he just wants justice. Matt also figured it out by then that Fisk had nothing to do with Foggy’s death, it was all Vanessa.

The bigger question for me now is why Bullseye was aiming for Fisk. Did Vanessa hire that hit as well?

I thought Fisk had Dex moved into genpop so he'd get killed before he could tell anyone about Vanessa so Dex is gunning for Fisk in revenge? could be way off though this was a packed episode

btw cannot believe British dude's name is Buck Cashman lmfao. why not just call him Money Moneyman

That episode? Wow. First episode of the series that felt close to the Netflix seasons. And what a cliffhanger!

Matt purposely injured Dex to get him out of Gen Pop, like he asked, and Dex went after Fisk for trying to get him killed in prison.

But what if that was Vanessa’s call, trying to tie up loose ends so that Fisk doesn’t find out she was behind Foggys murder? Now he’s going to be mad at her for both the murder and the attempted assassination

When would Vanessa have done made that call? Not saying it's not possible just don't understand the timeline there.

Yeah I’m not saying that’s what I think either. Just a little devils advocate. But clearly Vanessa was behind Foggy using Bullseye, I’d like to think Kingpin would think more of Bullseye being able to handle himself in genpop considering that was his guy at one point
