Daphne Loves Derby Band

I was listening to "Horrible Sound" recently and was wondering what the band members have been up to recently. Kenny is pretty active on Instagram with his wife and child. He posted a video of him singing "At Your Funeral" by Saves The Day to his kid while his kid was taking a bath which, if you listen to the lyrics, seems horribly inappropriate haha.

Jason is still doing solo stuff, which is really cool! If you bought his last album, it came with over 20 Daphne Loves Derby B-sides and demos from 2001-2007. I have them if anyone wants to listen.

Anyway, this band was a big deal for me and I'd love to see one more album from them with the sound of "Strawberry Eyes" or anything like that.

"Pollen & Salt" and "Cue The Sun" are amazing

But that one version of "Hopeless Love" is unreal. That outro...

 

The demos of DLD Jason sent me includes an acoustic version of "Sundays" and it's so fucking good.

 

DLD uploaded their album, Exit, the unreleased third album in it's entirety on Spotify.

They have also released Kenny's Wolftron album, Flesh and Fears under the Daphne Loves Derby name on Spotify.
