I’m definitely missing the radical experimentation of the production on Atrocity Exhibition but these songs are still very good. Super excited to hear what he cooked up with Peggy.
There's Paul White production on here too who did most of Atrocity Exhibition so I imagine there's more to this album than there seems Although if he wants to go full 90's hip-hop I'm all for that too
Danny is a child of 90s rap who is working with one of his heroes from that era. I’d be surprised if it didn’t have a sound similar to the last ATCQ album.
I would have absolutely no qualms with that as We Got It From here... is a decade-best contender for hip-hop
I found it genuinely hilarious for the most part, he's hysterical in it. All of the interviews and games where Danny and his guests are clearly adlibbing are fantastic, but some of the scripted bits were pretty hit or miss
