The Book of Soul is still a perfect song on a great record. Everything since is painful

 

I still think that Control System is probably the second best non-Kendrick TDE release... and I think/hope that the next Ab-Soul project is going to surprise some people.

Danny Brown Interview: You Ain't Heard It Like This Before

 

Gone through this two times now, super good. Today might be my favorite one it with Really Doe.

 

Never been much of a Danny Brown fan. I always found him to be quite annoying on tracks and whatnot but was TOTALLY blown away by this thing. Shot up in my top of the year list after a few listens. 2016 just keeps on giving.

 

Hot damn I love this album

 

The whole middle stretch of this album is just amazing (Really Doe-Dance in the Water is such an incredible stretch) but the whole thing is just so good. I was expecting greatness but this still surpassed my expectations

Just bought tickets for his tour today too. Going by myself but fuck it

Ain't It Funny continues to be unbelievable. Loving White Lines as well

 

He really outdid himself with this album.

 

this definitely passed the car test yesterday. only test left is the high test, which will have to wait until saturday (i have no doubts about this one).

i mean "when it rain", "pneumonia", and "really doe" all passed with flying colors so i'm sure the album as a whole will be just fine.

 

just imagine getting ripped during Downward Spiral and letting it take you on a trip all the way through till the end lol
