I kinda found this by accident. Thought I was pre-ordering, then it just gave me the EP. haha It's pretty sweet though.

 

I love Eternity Forever already, had 'letting go' in my head for weeks!

Yeah the EP is great! From what I've heard they're probably gonna record another one in the near future, along with Kurt being on a full Strawberry Girls release... but Kurt's main focus will still be his solo stuff.

They only have 5 albums, right?

 

I honestly think Mothership is the bands peak.

I will say, Jonny's vocals on DBM were were better than on DBMII. But instrumentally, I like DBMII more. The album has some of craziest shit the band has done. DBM is just more straight forward than I like for the band.

That Eternity Forever EP is great; some of the best guitar work I've heard in ages, awesome drums (from the Strawberry Girls guy I think?) and Kurt is cool as hell!

DBM at the bottom is lolworthy. I also hate when threads devolve into ranking albums.

Despite Jonny being garbage, there was a time when that and the EP were the only things that existed...Now get off my driveway

Even though the Tilian stuff is fun and he is talented, I think the Kurt albums are my favorite overall.

 

Every DGD album is an 8/10 or above. The trash only stands out because it's so few & far between - there will never be a general consensus as to which album is their best!

 

I don't know if it's every pressing of Deathstar (seeing as they're putting 13 tracks on a single LP), or if it's just the clear pressing. But damn does the clear pressing have issues.

This new White/Pink pressing of Acceptance Speech however, sounds better than the CD.

 

Holy shit this Eternity Forever EP is amazing guys
