hopefully after this fans can stop complaining about not having happiness or dbm2. this is like, at least, the fourth time their entire discog has been repressed i believe.

 

I only have Happiness and IG. Hopefully I can get at least s/t, don't need to be spending a ton of money right now or ever probably

 

They can repress every year and yet I'll never forgive myself for passing on a $50 box set.

 

I was broke at the time and couldn't justify the expense, but I still wish I had just sucked it up and came up with it somehow

 

Re-listening to Mothership ahead of my show on Friday....man this album is such a beast. Forget why I was middling on it, but it really nails what they've been trying to get to on the prior 2 albums with Tilian. I still like some of the experimentation on IG and AS more, but as a whole Mothership just gets it right

Willing to bet this is going to be another animated video, for Petting Zoo Justice. Personally not excited tbh.

 

The video better stay true to the song.

Which is to say I want to watch a horse beat up some kid's parents.

 

Petting Zoo Justice is my least favorite song on Mothership (except maybe Flossie Dickey Bounce)... But the idea of a true to song music video to Petting Zoo Justice sounds insanely fun and I would be very excited if that's what this is.

 

Lotta people saying Chocolate Jackalope rather than PZJ. Also, I found out that PZJ was primarily written by Matt and the Secret Band guitarist, Martin Bianchini, who also helped write Chocolate Jackalope and Man of the Year! (Plus The Jiggler, Shark Dad, Death of a Strawberry + Lost from previous albums!)

Weird for Will not to be the primary writer on a song.
