All of which are great IMO, but the others are objectively stronger songs. Carl Barker is my fav DGD song by a long way, Tree Village & NASA are "classic" DGD tracks, PTTP has Zac's best guitar work with the band and SSpt2 I'd played over 700 times on my old iTunes
Tracks 1-5, 10 are golden, 6 is decent, 7, 8, 9 are awful. Those three tracks shoulda been left off the album and released as an EP called Sadness.
I love all those tracks. My least favorite on the album is Powder to The People, it's hard to rank these songs but Happiness and Self-Trepanation are up there for me, and what kind of maniac doesn't like Don't Tell Dave
really the only songs from happiness that I find myself going back to are strawberry swisher 2 and powder. I love love love the instrumentals and kurt's melodies and the production. But no jon mess makes it my least listened to album. it's kind of a shame because happiness era is when I became a fan of the band
Ask him how much involvement he has on the new DGD album. Kurt mentioned in a recent podcast that he would be involved to some degree.
Zac is helping write at least one song (as is SecretBand guitarist Martin Biancini - confirmed by Tilian the other day). No questions from me but just tell him to change his twitter name back to Snackary Garren! Actually, can you just ask him what tips he has for aspiring guitarists please?! Like practice tips or whatever!
