Yeah he's good for sure. I for one struggle with finding the right chords rather that the lead parts with individual notes (I can just slow the song down to work out those bits), but this guy nails them 99% of the time. It is great when he fucks up and you know the correct parts - I'd kick his ass on betrayed by the game! haha
Building Album Sales Chart | HITS Daily Double HITS Daily Double #18 on sales with 9,965. #33 on sales plus streaming with 12,202. Not bad!
According to Jon Mess, it's their best performing first week. I still remember that interview he did before IG came out where he said he couldn't see himself continuing with the band if it didn't get "bigger" so to speak. I wonder if at least this is where he'd want to be.
Came in here to say this, as I just read that interview the other day. Hopefully they're getting where they want to be, this album needs more ears.
#13 is amazing, so proud of these dudes, they did an amazing job writing and promoting this album, and i'm so stoked to see it succeed!
hey i did that interview SPEAKING OF SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTION here's the one i did with tillian that came out today if u guys are interested Dance Gavin Dance Stay Light Years Ahead on 'Mothership'
Thanks for the link! I've been eating up interviews lately and thanks for actually asking interesting questions haha
Really good interview!!! The part about him getting his pilots license was fucking funny - how can you be BORED flying a plane?!
I'm so out of touch with this genre that I have no idea if they're relevant and you're being shady or no one actually listens to OM&M anymore
OM&Ms new record was unlistenable for me. I don't think I could get through a minute of nearly every song when I tried except for maybe the first song they released for it. Its just really uninspired and lacks any punch instrumentally. They're sadly a butt rock band now.
om&m is a good example of why you shouldn't alienate your core fanbase to seek out what you perceive to be a bigger check dgd is a good example of how to stay true to yourself and keep moving forward and upward
I swear I have a new favorite song on Mothership every other day. Chocolate Jackalope on repeat today. That rap verse into the gang vocals is just so good in such a dumb fun way.
I streamed it once cause what the hell, if they're selling that well then i'll spin anything once. My consensus on it was this band went on tour with Linkin Park once and now they know exactly where they wanted to take new sound direction lol.
