What's the best/most technical guitar song on the album? CvtGT is fucking hard to play but I think I've got it bar one riff.

 

I haven't actually tried to play any, but Frozen One sounds pretty difficult.

 

Absolutely. Also the early rip was missing the very beginning of Flossie Dickey Bounce lol... I like that little beginning bit.

 

Cool my order shipped... One day before I was supposed to receive it. -.- Fuck Merchnow. Probably won't receive it until at least Monday. That leak is looking more appealing every second... haha

 

I'm having the same thing with my TDWP pre order. It sucks because Merchnow always has great bundles, but can't seem to send anything out on time.

Got my 320, finally giving this a listen. I know everyone here is just dying to hear my thoughts. Patience, my darlings.

 

Well.

I'm on board.

It's more upbeat/poppy melodically than DGD usually is (especially vocally), which I could take or leave. It's incredibly dense and busy instrumentally, which I immensely appreciate. It is more traditionally "Rise Records-y" post-hardcore in a lot of places, but Will Swan is still shredding all over the place underneath it. I feel like there's less Mess on this album than is typical, which is disappointing, but Tillian sounds fucking crazy amazing, so, mixed bag.

I also feel compelled to say "You're tellin' me I'm the chosen one, but baby I've been the frozen one" is in serious contention for the worst lyric I've ever heard.

It's better than IG is the important part.

 

My low lyrical expectations have gotten lower...

I think it's just fine lyrically.

Exposed is pretty good in that regard.

 

That's as bad as it gets. It's mostly okay sorta.

 

It's apparently so good my itunes preorder decided to download it twice and double up all the songs.

My favorite song on the record right now is Chocolate Jackalope haha. I will agree about Chucky though.
