How does the 128 sound?! Is it worth listening to or better to wait?

 

Kingdom Leaks really likes this band huh?

 

The quality is not the best ever(obviously) but I've heard a lot worse from leaks before.

 

God dammit, I wasn't thinking. This decision just got harder :(

 

I'm pretty sure Dance Gavin Dance is the Kingdom Leaks equivalent of Brand New on this site. haha

 

I wouldn't be surprised to see an official album stream by tomorrow.

Just saw someone on KL describe this album as Protest the Hero meets Anberlin.

I'm intrigued.

 

Not entirely sure I agree with that description, but Anberlin is my favorite band, and I've only been sorta into DGD in the past, but this album clicked with me immediately.

 

Trying to hold off till an official stream/release but it's getting hard with all these reactions.

 

Anyone on the fence about listening, I'd advise against - leak seriously sounds like ass. Like a 96 kbps stream ripped and then recompressed or something lol.

 

Haha dang. Talked me out of it haha.

 

I wonder how files like these even exist. If someone has the album, why bother with a rip like this?

 

Leak is indeed genuinely awful quality, but I really didn't even mind because I was so hooked throughout. This is easily their best album with Tilian... at the same time it's catchier, more emotional, heavier, more technical, more raw... all AT THE SAME TIME. I don't even know how they managed to step it up so much, because while I loved AS and IG, they did not prepare me for this.

 

Best DGD album. Calling it now.

 

Yeah, this is really, really good. I've been a casual fan of this band since around the time Tilian joined, but I've never thought they were amazing outside of a few songs. This album is something else, though.

 

Fuck yes! I had a feeling this was the case once I heard the singles. Wish the record was coming out tomorrow

 

Yeah I feel that... I think you'll be very very impressed once the wait is over. The most variety on a DGD record easily.

 

I listened to the sampler that's floating around zippyshare the other day but I'm trying to hold off till at least a better leak comes around.

These reactions have me fucking HYPED!!! No way am I listening to any sort of stream so I'm waiting until next week. They put another clip up on twitter which sounded great too, so I am struggling to wait until Friday
