That's my absolute favorite part ever from Jon, and I think he's a more enjoyable lyricist than the rest. Opinions are opinions though.

 

My least favorite part from Jon is the line about squishing a bug on either IG or AS. It always catches me off guard and doesn't sound like a line that should be screamed haha.

 

My least favourite DGD lyric is in Lost, and as I gay guy who's been bullied for it in the past it shouldn't be surprising which lyric it is.

 

It is honestly the only song that has ever given me an involuntary, physical cringe reaction. Like I heard that part and my face was full cringe without even thinking to change my expression.

I think that line is dumb, but it's quick and delivered like whatever... The People You Know line I put though is a mixture of bad writing and awful delivery though so I consider it the worst. Haha

 

Fair enough. I don't mind that part at all actually haha.

 

The absolute worst the band has been IMO. So disappointed when I heard that the first time I think i've only listened to the song once or twice since. Was also listening to the first SecretBand EP the other day and Jon Mess uses "the F-word" in the song 'An Advertisement'. Just gotta hope they have learned since their use of slurs/etc. at least

 

They're filming a video. Hopefully for a new song though I wouldn't mind one for Chucky obviously.

 

the set looked hilarious from what I can remember from the pics on twitter, like pink & feathers everywhere or something?

Also, I think Tilian has broken his leg! He had some pretty gnarly cast on it according to his twitter.

 

I never listen to that song because the lyrics bothers me so much. I remember listening through IG for the first time and enjoying it so much, but then I got to Lost and was so disappointed that I didn't actually listen to the album again for a few weeks after even though I loved it.

 

DGD sold out The Middle East in Cambridge, MA. It's a pretty small venue but still dope because they didn't sell it out on their IG tour -- and that was after they released the album, not before it even came out. I'm so incredibly curious as to what their sales numbers are going to look like with Mothership but I have a feeling it's going to be quite a bit better than IG.

 

Great song, nailed the perfectly freaky vibe with that video.

 

Song is good(I think I like Chucky more though) and that video was... interesting.

 

Man, Tilian is really embracing the more gritty vocal styling this album it seems. I like it.

 

love the new song, and the video is great, perfectly creepy. i'm loving these new songs instantly, a lot more than the first songs released from the last two albums, even though i love those albums. i have high hopes this could be their best album yet with tilian!

 

I like everything about this. I love the look on Jon Mess' face the whole time. His sense of humor is great

 

This song and video are just so very DGD. What I expected and what I wanted.

 

Tiilian killing it in this song. Mess is a little underused though. 2/2

Betting this will be their best record yet with Till.

 

Excellent track. 2 for 2 so far with me.

This is great. It has the "large" sound that was really prevalent on DBM I. Great to see Tilian using his lower register a little more. Song brought smiles to my face at several points. 2 for fucking 2 baby lets go

 

Like the song, feels like their strawberry swisher type songs in that it has a basic "pop" structure of verse/pre-chorus/chorus (and that Jon takes a back seat to the clean vocalist). Guitar in the verse is cool but the instrumentals are solid without ever being at the forefront.

Also, that guy who has heard the album already needs to provide us with details ASAP...
