It is really scummy to me when fans get *that* involved in a band members' personal life.

 

echoing additionally that ALOT of people on the DGD subreddit are shitty

and also they tend to have bad music opinions lol. I hope the band doesnt look there for advice as to what their fans want.

Tribute song to Tim.

 

It’s really not much of a tribute to Tim. 75% is bitching and whining and saying “fuck the haters”. Wolf & Bear made a tribute song for Tim. This is a shame because Tim deserved something at least decent.

 

I think WIll and Andrew's lyrics are really the only ones for Tim on this...

Not a bad variety. My only wish is that every album was covered like in the previous two Tree City Sessions.

 

Yikes, that reads like a list of my skip tracks from each LP with just a few exceptions. Jarringly weak selections compared to the first 2.

Definitely. It's a much deeper cut tracklist than I expected.

 

I was hoping they'd use TCS3 as an excuse to transpose some old Tilian songs into Andrew's range, so the 5:4:3 Jonny/Kurt/Tilian ratio is definitely disappointing.

On the bright side I'm excited to hear Andrew sing these Kurt tracks!

 

TCS3 is already out there in full.

 

Surprised at how good Andrew sounds on this... and also how he doesn't sound like he usually does...

 

So the leaker of this also has Secret Band 3 that they say was done for months before this. And that there is a diva in the band that is causing all kinds of issues with release and tour timelines. haha.

But they also mentioned there was a cancelled Eidola, #12 and Hopesfall tour because of this person... which hopefully means that Hopesfall has something dropping soon.

 

Gotta be Andrew. He’s the one consistently complaining about Rise and release dates.

Leaker also claimed Being as an Ocean / Number 12 / Royal Coda / Secret Band tour later this year.

Sergio isn’t an official member of DGD though, so I didn’t expect he’d have as much pull.

 

I’ve had marginal interest at best in checking out a DGD show since the pandemic, but this supposed lineup would get me to go

 

DGD wouldn’t be on that tour unfortunately. It would be for their side projects Royal Coda and Secret Band.

 

Is BAAO that big still? I haven’t heard that name in years
