I don't know what the name of the injection it is, but there's a shot that Jonny takes now that eliminates the effects of drugs and alcohol that Jonny has been on for the last few years. I'm pretty sure he said it was Donovan Melero who strongly urged for him to get on it. Jonny has seemingly been sober ever since. The biggest life changer for Jonny had to be his son. Hopefully it stays that way. There haven't been any reported incidents with Jonny since then.

when they first kicked Johnny out they posted a truly massive list of reasons they were kicking him out, including him sleeping with underage fans. And then a couple years later they welcomed him back. They deserve to get shit for that imo

 

yeah iirc he got in hot water for SA someone on tour with slaves and then smoked rocks around his infant. the guys been done with since.

 

After that, apparently Jonny helped Taylor get treatment and got her on the same shot he is on.

That mess with his son was probably the real life changer for him, the last incident before getting clean. He's had his son visit him a ton since then, so I am sure he has had to appease the courts with whatever they mandated from him.

Echoing the sentiment that bringing back your predator vocalist for him to just leave anyway would be good comedy if it hadn’t been so pathetic to start with. Would have loved to listen to a new take on DGD if they had done the right thing from the get go, but it’s too late now.

 

Since Tilian is gone, they should cancel the planned Mothership performance, get Kurt, and do Happiness instead.

 

Naively hoping the actual reason he's out is because they finally came to their senses about him and they've all just collectively decided to be needlessly and stupidly diplomatic about it.

Band remains forever tarnished (barring some extraordinary redemption arc), but after not listening to them at all for the past almost two years, maybe I can return to them now without becoming awash in disappointment and disgust.

 

I’ve never been a big fan of DGD, but I really dig The Ghost of Billy Royalton, and I caught myself thinking “damn… I love every bit of this song BUT Tilian”

Only acceptable thing (unless they get Jonny and do DBM). Would be lame as hell to have someone imitate Mothership when they can have the OGs on an older album that actually fits the WWWY theme.

Idk about that, they’re friends now and send each other books and shit, and try to help each other with sobriety. Kinda weird cause she had a whole big video about how he got her addicted to heroin, but seems to have made amends kinda? Idk if it was a Instagram live video he did last year or maybe that punk rock mba interview but he explained how he’s kept in touch with her and her family since sobriety.
