Interesting. Wonder how they'll proceed ahead. Pretty final statement signaling the end of that era. I wonder what they will do at when we were young. They played that with Andrew last time they were there but it wasn't a full album play.
Interesting timing with Eidola's album being released on Friday, wonder if they didn't want to take away anything from the rollout but this has been in the works for a while.
Absolutely wild that creative differences and different life goals broke them and not the sexual assault but okay.
I really am not sure. Eidola seems to really be his baby, and supposedly they are releasing another album later this year that is a softer yang to Eviscerate's yin, and they're going on tour with Periphery. That seems like a sure fire way to destroy your vocal cords. He also can't really hit Tilian's notes in old songs, but I'm not sure who can. I do love his voice though.
Andrew, the second guitarist/vocalist, is the frontman for Eidola. It was his band before he joined DGD.
Andrew Wells, DGD's touring guitarist for a long time and official member starting with... before Jackpot Juicer I think? It's his "main" band. I think he's primary songwriter, singer, and has started doing more harsh vocal duties on their new album. I know anything DGD related feels somewhat tainted, but I like Eidola for a more catchy, straightforward version of the post-hardcore sound. Their new album feels heavier, a little more progmetal/djenty than previous releases that were more textbook post-hardcore.
