Last night at WWWY Fest, Andrew said it was his last show filling in on vocals.

Heard a very rough rumor with no credibility that Tilian is coming back. I hope this is not the case.

 

idk they named their tour “reborn in the uk” so i’m assuming that’s when they’ll be debuting either a new singer or an old one’s “rebirth”

they’re already selling tix without making a statement, so if it’s the latter, that is the one situation in which i’d condone egging/throwing tomatoes at a performer

I just don’t see how they could possibly justify bringing him back already, but knowing that they have eyes on that damn Facebook group they probably figure with the amount of fans who don’t give a shit it’s worth it

 

i was gonna ask where yall are finding all this info. tour names, tilian in italy driving a ferrari, etc.

 

It’s not bizarre. This band has a long history of not giving a shit about problematic behavior and they are taking advantage of the fact that this scene doesn’t give a shit about allegations like this.

The allegations against Tilian are far more severe than anything Jonny ever did. I feel like the band and label have been totally stumped on how to navigate the situation.

trigger warning Johnny raped his pregnant ex girlfriend at knife point dude that’s about as bad as it gets but he also raped his other ex girlfriend and deliberately got her addicted to heroin. I consider that to be quite a bit more extreme than what tilian did and what tilian did is absolutely sexual assault and before I hear “he wasn’t in the band during that time” they have either brought him as a guest vocalist on stage after these allegations or been extremely chummy with him on twitter (mostly Tilian) and made it clear he’s still their boy

 

Tilian was 35 years old and SOBER. That's why I find the allegations against him to be more alarming. It's like he was a wolf in sheep's clothing the whole time.

 

I know no one in here is intentionally trying to start drama, but let's not try to debate which abuser is "worse"

Both are dangerous people who pose a risk to members of our community, and neither should be in a position to be a role model. One doesn't have to be more evil than the other.

 

as much as i agree with sophos, it’s a pointless discussion to have and it’s honestly just depressing bc either way it goes, this band has been tainted by the multiple instances its band members have committed violent acts against women. and i think we all know that if they were actually gonna kick T, they would’ve done so immediately. but i hope his ferrari therapy in europe or whatever is going well ig

 

Do we know what happened to her? I really hope she is okay and DGD realized that suing the victim in this situation is the worst possible move ever.

and people tried to give the rest of the members the benefit of the doubt. not a chance
