the track run times might suggest these songs are pretty concise. major fan of that for them having had plenty of both concise and wandering tracks from them in the past.
Picture disks usually sound terrible, ordered the orange/black/white splatter instead. It is a really cool picture disk though
Very curious about this but i am skeptical that any release needs to be 18 songs. they’re one of my favorites tho so obviously i’m on board
its 10 minutes longer than their other albums on the long side. the first track looks to be an intro.
I have albums in my library with the same run time and half the tracks. Point is the run time and number of tracks mean absolutely nothing (besides the exciting prospect of 18 new songs being amazing) until we ya know hear the actual project. But like I said, they’re a fucking great band the albums gonna be great
As long as the whole thing flows well and manages to keep me engaged front to back, I have zero problem with the amount of tracks or runtime. Feels premature to complain about those.
Alright I'm on board with more songs if it's because all 3 vocalists are being given equal time to shine.
andrew isnt getting “equal time” hes already explained a long time ago his parts on this are like traditional features and backup parts
Nothing shameful and evaporate are the two best dgd songs of the modern era tho so more of that is extremely exciting
Heat-death-of-the-universe scale take incoming: Andrew's part almost ruins Nothing Shameful for me. And his part in Evaporate is...fine, if bland. I'm rather apprehensive about his many features here.
