From what I’ve heard this’ll just be a one-off single, but these guys do have an insanely fast turnaround on albums... so it might not be too much longer.

Wow any hints on why you like it more or what it sounds like?

 

The guitars are really lush but intricate, Mess' screams just sound pleasant and fun, and Tilian's melodies and lyrics-- oh my god, he's still just getting better. Also it fits the darker more spacious mood of the early Tilian albums.

Sounds much more Mothership/AS1 than AS2, but not anything groundbreaking IMO. Not sure how I feel about the auto-tuned-ish Tilian vocals, even though it's obv an intentional over the top thing

 

I don't really hear the autotune, but that maybe that's cause of how the vocals are mixed or my EQ.

Sure there's a lot of backing vocals & processing, but it's not distracting.

That opening distorted riff is just-- so bouncy. & I love how badass Tilian sounds, he's a force of personality. Also the way mood changes for the bridge is brilliantm

Yeah I gotta agree, one of their best songs in a while imo. I felt the same way about Summertime Gladness... maybe they need to do more one-offs haha

 

Rise had said something about save your money. I’m assuming this’ll be a 7” release or something of the sort.

Not suuuuuper crazy about Tilian’s melodies and don't like the total lack of Mess in the second half, but overall this song is rad. Can we get a new goddamn album already? It's been almost 10 months, get your shit together.
