Already listening to it and damn, off the bat Suspended In This Disaster is such an insane song. Easily could've been the lead single.

Also Count Bassy's intro is so pretty. The chorus makes of sense in context.

I didn't think that they can top Mothership but holy Moses they did. I really hope it's not their last album, but if it is then it ends on a high note. Damn I'm so happy that this band exists with Tilian.

Jon's lyrics to Story Of My Bros are absolutely disgusting, lmao

 

DGD did it again... another great album, and possibly their most diverse. Their albums always manage to be such fun listens.

That ending definitely has me wondering though... the callbacks definitely feel like there’s a sense of finality or the end of an era. Also, quite a few DGD fans have speculated that Andrew Wells would be the most likely new vocalist if Tilian were to ever leave... and he’s on the closing track. Could it be the last album with Tilian, the last album period, or neither? Very interesting.

 

This is such a fun listen. Idk if it’ll top Mothership for me but it’s another great album with Tilian.

 

Fuck I need to hear evaporate. Those outro lyrics are really interesting
