The end of Carl Barker, and Tree Village are probably my favorite moments on Happiness. Also the closer never gets enough love.

Either IG or Mothership but I honestly cannot even settle on a ranking for this band's discography anymore. Happiness will always be 1st for me, but all the others switch around all the time. AS probably my least fav of the 3, but the other two both contain perhaps 2 top-10 songs each that the band has ever done so IDK.

 

mothership and AS are my no.1 and 3 DGD albums so I've been a big fan of the tilian era

 

I honestly am not entirely confident what my favorite of the three is yet, they’re all very consistent with a few clear highlights sprinkled in. Is Instant Gratification really disliked among their fan base?

I think Strawberry Swisher, Pt. 3 is my favorite song with Tillian.

 

Once you get past the mess screams on S/T you see the light. Album has some great experimentation, and will kills it on the record.

 

Just can't stand Mess on DBMII and I still don't know why

 

Honestly Mess and Will are the only parts I do love on DBM II. Plus that album has Mess finally using his screams more melodically, and they improved on every album since imo

 

AS easily the best Tilian record.

 

Think it's just the delivery that puts me off, sounds so much better listening to him on the TCS version of Spooks than on DBM II

 

His screams are so weird and bad on that record haha it’s bizarre. I like that album a lot tho still, maybe a bit less than I used to tho if I’m being honest.

Yeah Carl Barker and Uneasy Hearts are my favorite Kurt songs.

 

Instant Grat is def the best Tilian album. Nothing touches Happiness but that's neither here nor there
