I’m gonna be happy no matter what tbh there are very few songs in their discog I dislike if any. I mean I literally have only been listening to this band and hardly anything else the past month. At this point they’re legitimately a top 5 favorite band of all time for me, shit maybe top 3.

They’re definitely one of my top 5 bands, but I realized the other day that I wouldn’t list any of their albums in my top 10 of all time though. It’s the consistency of their discog (especially with Tilian) that makes them rank so high for me.

I've been listening to them non-stop lately as well. Their discography is diverse enough that they have a record that meets the vibe I'm looking for.

Yea there was a pretty clear moment where they went from “band I always liked” to “wow they’re a legit favorite now.” I get so excited around everything they do.

Posted my picks in the other thread but:

    Pussy Vultures
    The Backwards Pumpkin Song
    Hot Water On Wool
    I'm Down With Brown Town
    Need Money
    Carve
    Strawberry Swisher Pt 3
    Shark Dad
    Eagle Vs Crows
    Philosopher King
    Chocolate Jackalope
    Midnight Crusade
    Count Bassy
    Calamiento Global
    Night Sway

I had barely listened to Mothership before this and skipped Artificial Selection entirely. Afterburner I had only listened to once. So I had to go through all those with fresh ears

Artificial Selection is amazing, regret ignoring it

Hey everyone. So I’ve never listened to DGD before but their catalog is very overwhelming. Where do I start? Cheers

I would listen to Instant Gratification first. It's the most straightforward album featuring the current lineup. If you like that, you can't go wrong with anything from Acceptance Speech on. Mothership is generally thought to be the best with the current lineup, but Afterburner is also incredibly strong.

Agree with this. I think Instant Gratification is the most accessible introduction to the band.

I agree with hitting up Instant Gratification. I'd argue it's their most accessible.

Id argue for you to listen to their most played tracks on streaming services first. Last I checked it will all be the most popular tracks from the last 4 albums - which I think is most logical starting point.
